Thousands have died as a result and in an effort to help one of the world’s poorest countries, one that has suffered in the past from the effects of devastating hurricanes, the International Table Tennis Federation has set up "Project Haiti" via the ITTF Goodwill Fund.
Assist Recovery “Project Haiti is to assist the Haitian Table Tennis Community recover, once the immediate and urgent relief efforts of the aid agencies have begun to stabilize the situation”, explained Glenn Tepper, the ITTF Executive Director-Development who was well aware of the desperate plight faced by the country’s inhabitants.
